Work in mixed graphite and digital media by Colchester-based artist James Willis will be showing in the gallery for September.
He is interested in subverting familiar locales in strange yet affectionate ways. Inspiration comes from the literary and visual works of Lovecraft, Clarke Ashton Smith (and many other creatives of that type) plus an enthusiasm for the East Anglian coast and its mysterious magic.
