Kate Lammin will be exhibiting her dream-like ‘Murmurations’ at our Over the Sofa Gallery from Saturday 3rd July.

She talks here about her inspiration and fascinating process:

‘This work, entitled Murmurations, is part of a series which began with a fascination with the word ‘murmur’. I use text in the images as a starting point and enjoy experimenting with different media.

These canvasses are created using fine Japanese papers, text, marble dust, rubber stamps, pigments and gilding.’
